Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Ike? Lemaster. Services were held Sunday, October 8, in the Phelps & Son Funeral Home Chapel, Paintsville.
Clifford Booth, 92, of Van Lear, died Thursday, October 5, 2017, in Paintsville. He was the son of the late Lon Booth and Bessie Dawson. Services will be held Monday, October 9, in the Jones Preston Funeral Home Chapel, Paintsville.
Rexford Stapleton Jr., 64, of Flat Gap, died Thursday, October 5, 2017, in Lexington. He is survived by his mother, Nellie Jean Cisco Stapleton, and his wife, Debra Stapleton. Services will be held Tuesday, October 10, in the Jones Preston Funeral Home Chapel, Paintsville.
Larry Pennington, 67, of Flat Gap, died Thursday, October 5, 2017, at his residence. He was a son of the late Frank and Eliza Helton Pennington. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Long Pennington. Services were held Sunday, October 8, in the Jones Preston Funeral Home Chapel, Paintsville.
Felix Adkins, 78, of Meally, died Tuesday, October 3, 2017, at his home. He was the son of the late Emerson Adkins and Lucinda Fannin Adkins. Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Della Faye Preston Adkins. Services were held Friday, October 6, in the Jones Preston Funeral Home Chapel, Paintsville.
Rebecca Susan “Becky? Yates, 60, died Tuesday, October 3, in Paintsville. She was the daughter of Gladys Mae Strickland Conley of Paintsville, and the late William Carl Conley. She is survived by her husband, Mike Yates. Services were held Sunday, October 8, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Painsville.
James Ernest Daniel, 64, of Staffordsville, died Monday, October 2, 2017, at his home. He was the son of the late James Lafe Daniel and Ruby Daniels Daniel. He is survived by his wife, Georgean Caudill Daniel. Services were held Thursday, October 5, at the Staffordsville Freewill Baptist Church, under the direction of Phelps & Son Funeral Home, Paintsville.
Polly Spencer, 80, of Denver, died Saturday, September 30, 2017, at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Cynthia Adams Click and William Amos Click. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, James “Tart? Spencer. Services were held Wednesday, October 4, in the Ricevill-New Bethel Freewill Baptist Church, under the direction of Phelps & Son Funeral Home, Paintsville.
Imogene “Jean? Wells Sammons, 94, of Van Lear, died Sunday, October 1, 2017, in Paintsville. She was the daughter of the late Marion Jackson and Alice Burke Wells. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Frank Bailey Sammons. Services were held Thursday, October 5, in the Jones Preston Funeral Home Chapel, Paintsville.
Ethel M. McKenzie, 85, of Stambaugh, died Saturday, September 30, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Dennis and Exer Davis Culwell. She is survived by her husband, George “Bill? McKenzie. Anna Louise Reed, 74, of Nippa, died Friday, September 29, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Rev. Glen and Amanda Caudill Davis. She is survived by her husband, James Donald Reed. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Tutor Key Community Baptist Church. Services were held Monday, October 2, at the Tutor Key Community Baptist Church, under the direction of Preston Funeral Home, Paintsville.
Timothy Von Crum, 52, died Sunday, September 24, 2017. He was the son of the late John and Betty Lewis Crum. He was the owner and operator of Appalachian Security. No public services were held. Preston Funeral Home, Paintsville, responsible for final arrangements.
Shelba Jean Ratliff, 80, died Sunday, September 24, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Rufus and Goldie Bowling Maynard. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, James Earnest Ratliff. She was a seamstress, and a member of the Ramey Branch Gospel Church. Memorial services were held Wednesday, September 27, at the Ramey Branch Gospel Church. Preston Funeral Home, Paintsville, responsible for final arrangements.

He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Rice Meek. He was a Paintsville City Councilman. Naythan Honeycutt, 51, of Paintsville, died Tuesday, September 26, 2017, in South Carolina.
